Harry Bruce Burke

Harry Bruce Burke, age 87, of Ann Arbor, was born May 4, 1936 in Iuka, Illinois, and passed away March 2, 2024 at home. Beloved husband of Louise Burke for 67 years. Loving father of Patrick (Cheryl) Burke, Donna Burke, Danny (Paula) Burke, and Rebecca Burke. Cherished grandfather of Stephanie Mills, Jennifer Mills, and Ryan Mills. Dear brother of Henry Brice (Gail) Burke. Proud uncle of Timothy Jay (Jamie) Burke, and great-uncle of Dylan and Ava Burke. Harry will be missed by numerous other family members and friends. Harry was preceded in passing by his parents, Harry Ellis and Vivian Burke; and his daughter, Laurita Drake.

Harry dedicated over two decades of his life serving as a scout master at St. Francis of Assisi, instilling valuable skills and leadership qualities in countless young scouts. As a United States Navy veteran, his commitment to service extended beyond his military service, shaping the lives of generations through his mentorship and guidance.

Memorial Mass will be held Monday, March 25, 2024 at 11:00am at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 2250 E. Stadium Boulevard, Ann Arbor.
