Beloved wife of John R. Griffith
Helen was born in Baltimore, where she first studied nursing, a profession that she loved. She married John, September 17, 1955, and they moved to Chicago, Rochester, and Ann Arbor in 1960.
She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, summa cum laude, in 1974, and practiced for 12 years in family practice with Dr. Marguerite Shearer, in Dexter, Michigan.
Helen was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church, Ann Arbor, serving in the formation of its Steven Ministry and parish nursing activities.
Helen died peacefully after a long illness, at peace with her Lord, her family, and herself.
Her three children, Julia Ellen, McClean, Virginia, Alison Bond, Christchurch, New Zealand, and Richard Robinson, Ann Arbor, Michigan and her husband join in recognizing how much she contributed to their lives.
