Jeanette Ruth Lotte

Age 92, passed away at Saline Evangelical home on Sunday November 7, 2010. She was born April 5, 1918 in Ann Arbor , MI . She was the daughter of Ottmar and Artena Gerstler. Jean graduated from Ann Arbor High School and Cleary College . She worked as an accountant at Edwards Brothers for many years. She married Francis Lotte, with whom she managed Fox Hills Golf Course along with Pats Par 3 for over 20 years, after which time they retired. Jean was a member of Bethlehem United Church of Christ. She was an avid golfer and bowler and loved to knit. She was preceded in death by both of her parents, her husband, Francis Lotte; her brother, Howard Gerstler; and her sister, Marilyn Bortles. She is survived by a step-daughter, Bonnie Salam of California ; a step-son, Roger Lotte of Mt. Clemens ; two nieces, Sherry (Gordon) Milner of Onsted; and Nancy ( Clyde ) Hall of Milan. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 9th from 4:00 – 8:00 pm. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, November 10th at 11:00am at Muehlig Funeral Chapel.
