On Sunday, July 8, 2018 Mary Ann (O’Leary) Soiderer age 83, passed away. She was preceded in death by her husband, Manfred Soiderer, brother, Francis O’Leary and her parents Robert and Catharine O’Leary. Mary is survived by her brother, Lawrence (Gerty) O’Leary of Herculaneum, MO by her five children, Susan (Brian) White of Zionville, IN, Catherine (Ron) Johansson of Seminole, FL, Paul Soiderer (Colleen Adams) of Palm Harbor, FL, Teresa (Murl) Babcock of Milan, MI and Emily (Nathan) Klocke of Randolph, KS. There are 20 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
After Mary graduated from nursing school in 1957, she worked at City Hospital in St. Louis, MO as a pediatric nurse. She met her dear husband there. They were married July 30, 1960 and moved to Ann Arbor, MI. Mary was a stay-at-home mother. The family attended St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Ann Arbor. Mary was active in the Right to Life Movement. She enjoyed keeping a nice house, sewing, and reading. She loved God and her family. She will be greatly missed. Memorial donations may be made to Right to Life or the Alzheimer’s Association.
Visitation will be held at Muehlig Funeral Chapel 403 South Fourth Ave, Ann Arbor, MI 48104 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 12, 2018. A mass of christian burial will be celebrated in memory of Mary at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church 530 Elizabeth St, Ann Arbor, MI 48104 Friday, July 13, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. with visitation from 9:00 a.m until the hour of the mass. Mary will be laid to rest at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 13, 2018 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery 1400 N. River Street, Ypsilanti, MI 48198.
