Raph Bleyaert age 85 of Ann Arbor, passed away suddenly at his home on Friday, December 19, 2014 after a brief illness. Survived by his loving wife Mary, children Aaron Bleyaert and Lisa (Stephen) Burm, grandson Benjamin Burm, his sister Barbara Kilbourn, sister in law Constance Bleyaert. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Ralph was a proud Korean War Army Veteran and enjoyed a long career at Eloise Wayne County General Hospital as well as the Director of the Ypsilanti State Hospital and for the past 20 years at St. Joseph Mercy Outpatient Services as a psychiatric therapist. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 27th at 1:30 p.m. (in-state at 12:30) at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church 2250 E. Stadium Blvd. Ann Arbor. Memorials suggested to the Turner Senior Research Center at UofM 2401 Plymouth Rd., Ann Arbor, MI 48105 or the Charity of your choice in Ralph's name.
