Robert Leroy Butler died January 31, 2023, at his home. Robert was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan June 11, 1935 to Duane and Geraldine (McGraw) Butler, and was a lifelong resident of the city. He was married to the beautiful Ireta M. Butler (Reese) for 60 years before she passed away on November 10, 2013.
Robert worked in real estate in the Ann Arbor area for more than 40 years. He loved art and drawing, Formula 1 racing, boating, music and spending time with friends and family. More than anything in the world, Robert cherished his loving family.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents.
Robert was the loving father of David Butler (Cheryl Ford-Butler) and Stacia Ireland (Keith Ireland). Loving grandfather of Michael Butler, Evora Ireland, and Jonevan Ireland.
Robert's family will hold a Memorial Service to celebrate Robert’s life on March 25th, from 4-6 PM at the Whitmore Lake Rod and Gun Club, at 11150 Lemen Rd., Whitmore Lake, MI, 48169.
