

Sue was born in Detroit, MI, on September 15, 1951, the daughter of George and Helen (Unitsky) Leach. Sue was the oldest of three children raised in Madison Heights, MI, all of whom shared a playful sense of humor, making the Leach clan a joy to be around for all who knew them. Sue graduated from Madison High School in Madison Heights, MI in 1969 and went on to reside and raise her family in Troy, MI. Most recently, she lived in Whitmore Lake, MI, which allowed her to be in close proximity to her many beloved family members and friends.
Sue is remembered for her joyful laugh, sense of humor, and playful spirit. One of her great passions was baseball, especially the New York Yankees, and she attended many games with her girlfriends. She also enjoyed collecting antiques, going to the movies, and going on many family vacations at Elk Lake in northern Michigan. Most of all, Sue cherished spending time with her children, grandchildren, godchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Sue was a long-standing member of St. Michael’s Orthodox Church in Redford, MI. She was a homemaker while raising her three children, and afterwards, went on to build her career with the S.O.C. Credit Union.
She is survived by her children: Miguel (Pam) Gonzales III, Brad Riddle, and Elizabeth Riddle; and her grandchildren: Sierra Gonzales, Bryson Gonzales, Nathaniel Gonzales, Kurtis Scott, and Lucas Scott. She is also survived by her brother, Greg Leach; her best friends, Stephanie Henkel and Tanya Hanzel; and her many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Matt Leach.
