Addie was born in Baltimore in 1937 to Harold and Margaret Seifert. She graduated from Sparrows Point High School where she played field hockey and was a member of the rifle club; she won several awards in the rifle club. Addie married Jack Mangus in 1959. They briefly resided in Baltimore County before moving to Crownsville where they raised two sons. Addie and Jack enjoyed camping and travelling.
Addie was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Loren Seifert and her husband. She is survived by her two sons, James (Debra) and Timothy (Kristen).
Addie will be remembered for her free spirit and love of life.
The funeral will be held at St. Anne’s Church in Annapolis at 11:00 a.m. on April 10th followed by a burial at St. Anne’s Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made in Addie’s name to: Hospice of the Chesapeake, the American Heart Association, the SPCA of Anne Arundel County and the American Diabetes Association.
