
Albert John DiConsiglio, beloved husband, father and grandfather and a lifelong Brooklyn Dodgers and Frank Sinatra fan, passed away on August 26, 2022. He died peacefully surrounded by his family in his Annapolis, MD., home.
Born in the Bronx, N.Y., in 1936, he relocated to Annapolis in 1986. He retired from a 30-year-career in the Air National Guard as a chief master sergeant and worked for 20 years as a U.S. Naval Academy tour guide.
Albert married Peggyann Schaefer in 1959 at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City. A devoted family man, he took immense pride in his three children, Jeannine, Paul and John, and his grandchildren, Christian, Joe, James, Catherine, Nicholas, Emma and Sara.
He is also survived by his daughters-in-law Lisa and Stacey, and his brother Robert and his sister-in-law Lisa.
The family will receive friends at the John M. Taylor Funeral Home, 147 Duke of Gloucester Street Annapolis, MD 21401 on Thursday, September 1, 2022 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint John Neumann Catholic Church 620 Bestgate Road Annapolis, MD 21401 on Friday, September 2, 2022 at 10:30 AM. A private interment will take place in Maryland Veteran Cemetery, Crownsville at a later date.
