Doug was born on January 28, 1976 in Annapolis, MD. to Lawrence Maisel and Darlene Wolford. Doug worked for the family business, Maisel Brothers Inc. located in Glen Burnie, MD. On April 20, 2013, he married the love of his life, Lisa Arpei. They raised two sons, Stephen and Giovonni and two daughters, Kristin and Ellen.
Doug was an avid hunter, an automotive enthusiast and loved riding his Harley. He was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit. Doug loved to travel with his wife. They shared many wondrous adventures together.
Doug is survived by his loving, devoted wife Lisa and their four children, Ellen, Kristin (husband Victor), Stephen (wife Tara) and Giovonni. He is also survived by his father, Larry and wife Kathy, his beloved mother, Darlene ("Dee") and his step father Fritz, and brother Paul and his wife Bonnie, two grandsons Atlas and Emilio and nephew Jonathan. Doug is also survived by his grandmother Virginia Droll.
