George Franklin Alton, Sr., passed away on November 24, 2018 at the age of 81. George was born in Annapolis, Maryland to the late Thomas R. and Margaret Alton. He was employed at Anchor Yacht Basin for over 50 years. George is survived by four children: Terry Alton, George Alton, Jr., Rosalie Suthard and Shawn Martin. Also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Rosalie Alton and two children Tony Alton and Georgina Alton.
The family will receive friends at the John M. Taylor Funeral Home 147 Duke of Gloucester Street Annapolis, MD 21401 on Wednesday from 10 to 11 at such time services will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel.
