Marjorie Ann (Fusselman) Goode, a long-time resident of Annapolis, passed away after a brief illness on March 1, 2026, just one month shy of her 100th birthday. Margie was born in San Francisco, California, on March 31, 1926 and moved to Long Beach as a young girl with her late parents, Roswell T. and Marjorie (Cummins) Fusselman.
Like many young women of her generation, she worked in factories and shipyards during WWII before resuming her career as a runway model in fashion retail. After raising her daughters, Margie returned to retail and worked for many years as the Personal Shopper for Garfinckel’s in Annapolis and Washington, DC. Longtime members of the Annapolis Yacht Club, Margie and her husband, Bob, traveled extensively and enjoyed annual trips to England for many years.
Margie was predeceased by her husband of 72 years, Robert Eugene Goode, and her grandson, Robert Thomas Goode. In addition to her daughters, Rebecca (Stephen) Mucchetti, Deborah (Michael) Larkin and Melinda Goode, she is also survived by grandsons Michael (Kristin) Mucchetti, Stephen (Sarah) Mucchetti and Jeffrey Larkin, as well as great-grandchildren Cally, Dany, Sam, George and Mia Mucchetti.
Margie will be interred with her late husband at Arlington National Cemetery. Per her wishes, no services are planned.
