Mary Ann Jones

Mary Ann Jones, a lifelong resident of Annapolis, passed away peacefully at home on May 19, 2015. Born in Hawley, Pennsylvania to the late Harry F. Brandow and Mary C. Curran she was a mother to four daughters and one son. She was employed at Safeway as a cashier and retired after 35 years of dedicated service in 1998. Above all she did everything to make way for her children. Mary Ann was the heart of the family. She leaves to mourn Joanne and Betty Jones of Annapolis; Bonnie Goddard of Cape St. Claire; Gigi and son-in-law, Shawn Duffy of Chesapeake, Virginia and one son, William Jones III and wife Debra of Annapolis; grandmother to Angel Toro, William Jones IV and his wife, Jen, Colin and Tristin Duffy and great-granddaughter, Madison Lynn Jones. She is also survived by her sister Betty and husband Ron Colligan of Millsboro, Delaware and a brother, Joseph F. Brandow of Baltimore. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Jones, II and brother, James F. Brandow. Mary Ann enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, traveling and going to the beach. Mary Ann leaves many precious memories to be cherished by her loving family.
