Nancy Stanford McCormack

She is the daughter of the late Louis Frederick Kreyer and Adrienne Decker Kreyer. The second of four children: Virginia, Nancy, Lou and Adrienne.

Nancy attended Linden Hall in Lititz Pennsylvania.

Nancy started her working career as an assistant to the President of B Altman & Co. in New York City. With her first husband George Shenk she moved from New York to Pennsylvania, Illinois, Connecticut and Annapolis.

A resident of Annapolis for 55 years, Nancy was a bookkeeper for the family printing business, Whitmore Printing. She loved her family, was an outstanding cook, and had a lifelong love and talent for knitting, crocheting , embroidery , sewing and quilting. She made gifts for family and friends throughout her life. These gifts are cherished by her loved ones.

Nancy was widowed twice, to Norman Stanford in 1990 and Francis Ronald McCormack in 2000. She is survived by a son Stephen Shenk of Centreville, Maryland,and daughter Janet Shenk, husband Michael Dee, of Annapolis Maryland; stepsons Michael Stanford, wife Lindy: Peter Stanford, wife Laurie; five grandchildren, Timothy, Emma, Chastain, Madison, and Michael James; four step grandchildren, Andrew, Katherine, Kyle, and Ryan, and three great grandchildren.

Services and Interment will take place at the United States Naval Academy at a later date.
