

Nancy moved to Maryland and found a job at Arthur Murray School of Dance as a Dance Instructor. It was there that she met her husband Bob, a fellow Dance Instructor. They were married in April of 1949 and then moved to Annapolis where they started a Masonry business. Together, they built Lincoln Park, as well as many other commercial and residential buildings in the greater Annapolis area. In the 80s they owned and operated a skating rink (Skate World).
Nancy is preceded in death by her husband Bob, two daughters; Tamara and Tara Wolfe. She is survived by two daughters; Donna Wolfe and Twila DeVei; three grandchildren; Amber Wolfe, Collin Wolfe, and Ava DeVei.
In her many years of life, Nancy worked at the United States Naval Academy. She was also a self-employed electrologist for over 25 years. Nancy and Bob established great friendships in Annapolis (including her and Bob’s loving caregivers that have helped them for the past several years). She will always be known to her immediate family as “Lolly”.
A visitation for Nancy will be held Monday, February 7, 2022 from 1 to 2 PM at John M. Taylor Funeral Home, 147 Duke of Gloucester Street, Annapolis, MD 21401. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2 pm. A graveside service will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers memorials in her name to Saint Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Saint Mary’s Church 109 Duke of Gloucester Street Annapolis, MD 21401 will be appreciated.
