

Ray was the beloved husband of Bonnie White and a dedicated father to his three daughters and their spouses: Catherine Ellen Born (Terry Browne), Bonnie Elaine Marquez (Mike), and Diana Marea Lucas (James).
Ray's legacy lives on through his grandchildren, Alisha Garner, Casey Born, Brandon and Samantha Hanback, Logan Browne, Ryan, Jordan, McKaley, and Liam Marquez, as well as his great-grandchildren, Peyton, Oliver, and Jace Butler, Penelope and Quincy Hawkins IV, Delaney Karn, and Carter Hanback.
Ray devoted many years of his life to volunteering at Knights of Pythias, Annapolis Moose Lodge 296, and American Legion Post #7. He catered many wedding receptions and parties with his late wife Bonnie.
Ray worked for himself doing home improvement for over 35 years and prior to being self employed he worked for Charles Loving construction company. There wasn’t much Ray couldn’t fix.
Ray liked planting his garden and playing the lottery. Ray always referred to the corner store where he played keno as the office. Ray enjoyed cruises and liked to travel.
The recent years have been challenging for Ray as he was the care giver to his wife Bonnie of almost 52 years who passed in October.
Ray dedicated his life to supporting his family and his beautiful, late wife. Ray had a deep love for his wife and children and took great joy in his time spent with children, his grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Which he always had nicknames for them
Ray is survived by his siblings, Wanda Howard, John, Frank, and Wayne Wright, and was predeceased by his mother Margaret Taylor and his sister Priscilla Clough.
A visitation for Ray will be held Sunday, January 19, 2025 from 3 to 6 PM at John M. Taylor Funeral Home, 147 Duke of Gloucester Street Annapolis, Maryland 21401. A funeral service will occur in the funeral home chapel on Monday, January 20, 2025 at 11:00 AM. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, 1911 Forest Dr, Annapolis, MD 21401.
