

Born on May 7, 1934 in Providence, RI to Harry and Anna Tarlaian, Ron attended Lassalle Academy for his high school education. After high school, he joined the US Navy and served as a radioman during the Korean conflict. After serving 4 years in the navy, he attended Providence College where he earned his BS degree in education while working as a Providence City police officer. Upon Graduation, he worked as a high school teacher and then principle in the Rhode Island school system.
In 1969, Ron moved his family to Annapolis, MD where he worked for the Dept of Education in Washington, DC. While working for the government, he earned his masters and later PHD in education. After his retirement in 1984, he owned 3 car dealerships in the area.
In his later years, Ron enjoyed watching sports and spending time with his family including cruising and attending annual Christmas events in Lancaster, PA.
Ron is survived by his wife Evelyn of 68 years, sons Ronald Tarlaian Jr and Michael Tarlaian and daughter Anna Cisneros and their spouses. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 11 great grand children, one great granddaughter, 2 brothers and one sister.
A visitation for Ronald will be held Thursday, June 19, 2025 from 4 to 6 PM at John M. Taylor Funeral Home, 147 Duke of Gloucester Street Annapolis, Maryland 21401. A Mass of Christian Burial will occur Friday, June 20, 2025 at 10:30 AM in St John Neumann Church, 620 N Bestgate Rd, Annapolis, MD 21401. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, 1911 Forest Dr, Annapolis, MD 21401.
