Roy Charles “Charlie” Haven, Jr. died on June 13th, 2015 in Cullman, Alabama at the age of 53. Roy is survived by his loving parents, Paulette Rabbitt and Roy Haven; beloved wife, Wendy Haven; grandmother, Rita Oremland; sisters and brothers in law, Wendimarie Haven, Michael Green, Alyssa and Joseph Stewart; nieces, nephews and great niece, Kelleigh Killingsworth, Bethanie Ricci, John Hampsey III, David Stewart and Willow Killingsworth; aunts and uncles, Stephen and Betty Rabbitt and Paul and Patricia Rabbitt. He is preceded in death by his sister Terrianne Ricci; grandparents, Martin and Hilda Haven and Paul Rabbitt. Charlie was born on November 21st, 1961 in Washington, D.C. He attended High Point High School in Beltsville, Maryland. He married Wendy Haven in 1989. While living on the East Coast, he had a career as a painter. His family will remember him as a person with a good sense of humor, strong determination and an inquisitive mind. Charlie enjoyed cooking, gardening, fishing, and watching fireworks.
