Virginia Currier

Virginia Lee Currier, 83, of Annapolis, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2016. She was born November 14, 1932 to the Late John and Elizabeth Currier and was a graduate of Annapolis Senior High. Virginia was a member of the Epsilon Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi. She spent her early working years with Service Insurance and later worked and retired from the Maryland State Court of Appeals. Virginia was a member of Heritage Baptist Church and was active in Bible study. Following her retirement she kept busy with friends and family playing board games, crafting, traveling and providing assistance to those who needed her help. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John L. Currier Jr. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Suzanne T. Currier and nephew, Bryan Currier. A Funeral Service will be held 3:00pm, Friday, September 2, 2016 at the John M Taylor Funeral Home, 147 Duke of Gloucester Street, Annapolis. The Family will receive friends two hours prior to the funeral service on Friday, from 1:00pm – 3:00pm. Burial will be private at Glen Haven Memorial Park, Glen Burnie, MD.
