William J. Breuer

William "Bill" Breuer, 79, of Garden City NY, passed away on February 21, 2023. He was born and raised in St Albans, NY to William R Breuer and Catherine McKenna Breuer He grew up with his sister Betty Breuer Somers. He attended Brooklyn Prep Highschool.

He then went on to the Brooklyn College of Pharmacy, Long Island University to obtain his Master’s in Pharmacy, and then St Johns Law School, where he received his JD and passed the NY State Bar exam very shortly after. His career started as an ADA in Queens, NY, and then started his private law practice in Ridgewood Queens, where he practiced for over 30 years.

He married his high school sweetheart, Eileen Patricia Newell on June 10th, 1967. He was a devoted father and grandfather who created a nickname for everyone. He had a fantastic memory, a quick wit, and told entertaining stories. He helped out so many people throughout his life. He was admired for his knowledge of the law, ability to win most cases, and gregarious, warm personality.

He is survived by his loving wife, Eileen; children, Matthew {Pam}, Kara {Edward}, William and Michael{Mariana}{ Grandchildren: Matthew, Lauren, Benjamin and Abby Breuer, Connor and Kaitlyn Panebianco, Julian, and Camila Breuer

A visitation for William will be held Tuesday, February 28, 2023, from 9 to 10 AM at John M. Taylor Funeral Home, 147 Duke of Gloucester Street, Annapolis, Maryland 21401. A Mass of Christian Burial will occur Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at 10:30 AM in Saint John Neumann Catholic Church, 620 N. Bestgate Road, Annapolis, MD 21401. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, 1911 Forest Drive, Annapolis, MD 21401.
