Annie New Wade

Funeral service for Mrs. Annie New Wade, 89, of Anniston, will be 11:00 AM, Monday, June 9, 2014, at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with Rev. Jerry Lackey officiating. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends tonight from 5-8 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Wade died Friday at her home.

Survivors include her daughter Lilli A. Rogers of Oxford; Sons, John Thomas Wade of Spring Branch, Texas and David Leon Wade of Coldwater; 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Wade is preceded in death by her husband John Culyer Wade; and parents, William Anderson and Nancy New.

Pallbearers will be Shawn Gibson, Brandon Armbrester, Rodney Wade, Blake Pressley, Kevin Beavers, Rusty Watts, and Lucas Slowick.

Mrs. Wade was a resident of Anniston, AL and worked at the Anniston Ordinance Depot. She was a member of the American Legions Auxiliary Unit 155. Mrs. Wade was a protestant and a member of the Salvation Army. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
