Funeral service for Anthony L. Haney, 58, of Jacksonville, will be held Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Roy Cordle and Rev. DeWayne Sams officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until the service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. Mr. Haney passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2017.Survivors include his wife, Debra Haney; daughter, Sha Nicholson Smith; son, Jason Haney; sisters, Louise Punkosdy and Angie Tenney; brothers, Laney Haney, Marshall Haney, and Michael Haney; grandchildren, Abigail Nicholson and Embree Haney; and several nieces and nephews.He is preceded in death by his grandchildren, Tori Nicholson, Ethan Nicholson, and Michael Anthony Nicholson. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Mr. Haney was a native of Jacksonville and worked at the Anniston Army Depot for 16 years.
