Anniston - Services for Mrs. Betty Terrell Robertson Rogers, 71, of Anniston, will be 1 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2011, at Gray Brown Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Bill Harbison and the Rev. Stacey Boutwell officiating. Family will receive friends from noon until 1 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Crestwood Cemetery (Gadsden, Alabama). Mrs. Rogers died Thursday at Stringfellow Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include her daughter, Debra Eady, of Anniston; aunt, Cora Lee Odell, of Gadsden; cousins, Emmett Odell, of Orlando, Florida, Josephine Odell, of Gadsden, Lura Perkins Magbee, of Gadsden; and caregiver, Linda Darnell, of Anniston.
Mrs. Rogers was a native of Gadsden and a resident of Anniston since 1968. She worked for Anniston City Schools with over 34 years of service and was Director of Child Nutrition until she retired in 2001. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church. Mrs. Rogers was preceded in death by her husbands, John Robert Robertson and Jerry Lee Rogers and son, John Steven Robertson.
