Carolyn Sue Hawkins

Carolyn "Bonnie" Goode Hawkins, of Pell City, Alabama passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Thursday, January 30, 2025. She was preceded in death by her father Sam Goode, and mother Fannie Lou Goode and husband of 61 years, Johnnie Hawkins, and Grandson Brennan Hawkins.

She is survived by her son, Andy Hawkins; granddaughter, Bellamy Davis (Joel); great grandson Mari Davis; her sister, Jo Tankersley; and her brothers, Sam Goode and Charles Goode (Elaine); niece, Robbie van Schilfgaarde, nephews Daryl Goode and Stacy Tankersley; Niece Shannon Sisson (Greg) and a host of grand-nieces and nephews along with many friends and extended family.

Bonnie was an avid Southern Gospel Music fan and follower.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 5th from 11:30-12:00 (family only), and from 12:00-1:00 for friends at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Anniston. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 in the chapel with interment immediately following at Oak Bowery Baptist Church, Middleton Cemetery.

Pallbearers are: Daryl Goode, Shannon (Goode) Sisson, Dan Belser, Jackie Edge, Kevin Jones and Craig van Schilfgaarde

Honorary Pallbearers are: Jo Ann Tankersley, Robbie Tankersley, Stacy Tankersley, Sam Goode, Charles Goode, Elaine Goode, Rocky Beach and Francis Goode.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the staff of Lakeside Hospice for all of their love and support for our "Bonnie" over the last several days. You were a blessing, not only to her, but to all of us as well.
