Carolyn was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County. She was a member of Saks Baptist Church and retired from the Calhoun County School System. She enjoyed arts and crafts of all kind. Carolyn was married to the love of her life, Steve Wallace for would have been 63 years on May 4. She found great joy in the simple and meaningful moments of life. She loved tending to her garden and flowers, and her kitchen was a place where her talents truly shined—she often joked that no one could cook quite as well as she could. A devoted member of her church, she faithfully served by organizing luncheons, baking, decorating for special occasions, and supporting fundraising efforts. Gifted with creativity, she had a remarkable ability to recreate any arts and crafts she admired, as well as beautifully designed cakes for special occasions and bake sales. She carried a spirit of excellence in all she did, putting her whole heart into every task. She was deeply involved in the lives of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, faithfully supporting their activities and sports, and cherishing every moment spent together. Strong-willed and lovingly known as “the boss” among her eight siblings, she was also gentle in spirit and full of love. She enjoyed shopping, exploring estate and yard sales, and especially treasured family gatherings, always desiring to keep her loved ones close. Above all, her faith was the cornerstone of her life. She loved Jesus Christ as her Savior and Redeemer, and it brings comfort to know she now dwells with Him in perfect health and peace.
