Charles "Paul" Phillips

Graveside Services for Charles “Paul” Phillips, 83, of Ohatchee, will be held Saturday, September 23, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. at Hebron Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Foote and Rev. Chris Connell officiating. Visitation will be held at Mt. View Baptist Church from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Mr. Phillips passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at his residence.

Survivors include his wife, Mary B. Phillips; daughter, Yunona Phillips Jones (Winn); sons, Charles P. Phillips, Jr. (Tammy) and Tracey B. Phillips; daughter-in-law, Louann Phillips; grandchildren, Scotty P. Phillips (Rachel), Stephanie Phillips, Jacob W. Jones, Mary Katherine Jones, and Blair L. Phillips; great-grandchild, Nolan Phillips; brothers, Shelton Phillips (Patricia) and John Blair (Doris); and sisters, Sue Carmack, Elaine Daniels (Leon), and Helen Cotton.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Emmett and Mabel Phillips; and brothers, Ralph Phillips and Eugene Phillips.

Pallbearers will be Scotty Phillips, Winn Jones, Jacob Jones, Nolan Phillips, Anthony Blair, David Blair, and Barry Phillips.

Mr. Phillips was a member of Mt. View Baptist Church and a Mason. He also was an Alexandria Band Booster supporter. The family will accept flowers, or donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
