Memorial service for Christopher “Kit” Malone Downing, 74, of Anniston, will be 2 pm Friday, October 27, 2017 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church with Father Charley Alookaran officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday from 1- 2 pm at the church. Mr. Downing passed away on October 20, 2017 at his residence.
Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Hannon Downing, daughters, Natalie Downing Black (Dennis) and Ashley Downing Nesbit (Donald), grandchildren, Amanda Black McClurg (Will), Tyler Downing Black and Landon Porter Nesbit, special friends, Steve McClellan, Fred Chapman and Ricky Black, 5 nephews, 3 nieces and numerous cousins.
Mr. Downing is preceded in death by his parents Zilla and Luke Downing and infant brother, Lewis Morris Downing III.
