Colton Lamar Maye

Alexandria – Funeral service for Colton “Yotaboii” Lamar Maye age 19, of Alexandria will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Boiling Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Hayes officiating. Entombment will follow at Maple Grove Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 12 Noon till service time at the church.

Colton passed away August 25, 2011.

Colton is survived by his parents, Randy and Jeannie Maye of Alexandria; grandparents Raymond and Donna Maye of Weaver, Terry and Gaynell Wright of Jacksonville, Gilbert Walker of Littleton, North Carolina; great grandmother, Jackie McCartney of Weaver; aunts and uncles, Chris (Leigh Anne) Maye, Tonya (Kevin) Bagley, Jamie (Melissa)Wright; girlfriend, Haley Burnham and several cousins. Pallbearers will be Chris Gallahar, Justin Brown, Bradley Johnson, Landon Mannick, Tyler Gallahar, Alex Ward and Logan Dulin.

Colton was a native and lifelong resident of Alexandria; He was a member of Boiling Springs Baptist Church and a 2010 graduate from Alexandria High School. He loved Nascar, Alabama Football and was an avid hunter.

Colton was preceded in death by his great grandparents, James A. McCartney, Raymond D. and Frankie Jenette Maye, Mamie Willis Dulaney, Gaynor Gustus Willis, Hazel Bass.
