Daniel Eastman McIntyre

Danny is preceded in death by his father, Eastman McIntyre; mother, Joyce Aver; sister, Sheila Lackey; and stepmother, Levean McIntyre.

His survivors are his ex-wife, Vickie McIntyre of Pleasant Valley; daughter, Terri Whaley (Eric); son, Daniel McIntyre (Danielle); brothers, Kenny Wayne McIntyre (Maryann), Bobby Joe McIntyre (Virginia), and Ferron Hall (Tammie); sisters, Carolyn Hansen (Mike), Kathy Richardson, and Cheryl Hall; grandchildren, Ethan Whaley, Talon Whaley, Chevy McIntyre, Carlee McIntyre; great granddaughter, Sky Grace Lynn Whaley.

SGT Danny proudly served his country from December 1974 to July 1988 his time with the Military began in Connecticut continuing to Ft. McClellan, AL, Johnson Island HI., Baumholder Germany, ending with his final time served in Savannah GA as a Chemical Instructor with a honorable discharge.

Among many interests he had was his love for football “ROLL TIDE”, playing poker, and fishing, hunting and spending time with family. In his children’s eyes they were blessed to have him as a father and will be greatly missed.

He was of the Catholic faith and a member of Cane Creek Church.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday June 24, 2023 at his son’s home at 2 pm.
