David is survived by his parents, Rebecca and David Boone Sr.; siblings Andrew Whitten Boone and Emily Hannah Boone; grandparents Sherley Wyatt Boone and Carol Wayne Bryant.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Johnnie and Barbara Smith; and grandfather Willie T. Boone Jr.
David was an avid gamer - not only with video games but card games as well. He loved Dungeons and Dragons, Magic: The Gathering, and Yu-Gi-Oh. He loved listening to music and also spent his time playing guitar - left-handed and upside down. Although he was quite a solitary man, he was known by his family and friends to be sharp, smart, and had a great sense of humor.
David was a loving, kind, and generous man and in keeping with David’s loving and generous spirit, it was his decision to be an organ donor so that others may live.
