David is survived by his daughter Amanda Torres; his sister Emily Pearson (Joe), his brothers Edward Bowles (Julia) and Paul Bowles; his grandchildren Taylor Cannington and Jett Torres and several nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by his wife Louise Bowles and his parents James and Sarah Bowles.
Funeral services for David will be Sunday, August 14, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Gray Brown Service Mortuary with Rev. Dean Pearce officiating. Burial will follow at Oxford Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Shaddix, Ben Pearson, Matt Pearson, Kasey Streets, Mike Thomas and Jason Routson.
David was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County. He graduated from both Oxford High School and Ayers Technical College. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Meadow Brook Baptist Church. He was the owner and operator of David Bowles Custom Home Designs for 50 years. He was an avid Auburn Football fan. He was loved by his family and will be greatly missed.
