Debbie is survived by her brother; Rex Salers, Anniston, Alabama and Nephew; Brian Salers, Chesapeake, Virginia. 2 Aunts and a host of cousins and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husbands Patrick Mullen and Tim Garrett, parents; Russell and Arlys Salers Tidwell; Stepfather; Ancle (Jim) Tidwell and brothers; Randall (Randy) Russell Salers, and Samuel Robert Salers.
Debbie lived most of her life in Calhoun County, where she attended Oxford High School and Gadsden State College where she earned a degree in Court Reporting. She worked many years for the Calhoun County Courts as a court reporter, and later started S & D Associates. She worked for several local attorneys, sometimes traveling to distant locations to take depositions.
She loved her family and friends very much, and will be missed by all, especially those friends who she attended monthly luncheons with.
Per her request she will have a Celebration of Life at a later date.
