Dennis E. Montgomery, 72, of Wellington, AL passed away peacefully at his home with his wife and family at his bedside on July 4, 2025. He was born on April 18, 1953 in Anniston, AL. Dennis was preceded in death by his father, George Montgomery and mother Margaret Montgomery and nephew, Jonathan Blackburn. Dennis retired from Anniston Army Depot with 42 years and Balscrete equipment CO with 35 years. Dennis lived a life rooted in dedication resilience and love for the outdoors. A devoted husband, Dennis shared his life with his beloved wife of 26 years, Deborah Montgomery.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Deborah Montgomery, sister, Shirley Brown, sons, Denny Montgomery and Colin Morris, step-children, Amy Tucker and Toby Morris, two granddaughters, Lauren Montgomery and Bella Tucker and niece, Christi Watts.
Dennis was known as a good and hard working man. His strong work ethic and stedfast character left a lasting impression on those that knew him. He will be greatly missed.
