Weaver – Funeral services for Mr. Donald Fredric Morrow Sr., 94 of Weaver will be held Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Harper, and Rev. Steve McGinnis officiating with burial to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday night, March 4, 2016 at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m.
Mr. Morrow passed on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at Bill Nichols State Veterans Home in Alex City.
Mr. Morrow is survived by his sons, Donnie F. Morrow Jr., and Danny Morrow; grandchildren, Ken Morrow, Janna Morrow Babb, Ashley Harper Henderson, Alisha Harper Paige, Carrie Morrow Morgan, Daniel Morrow, and Mike Morrow; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Derrick Cotton, Terry Burkett, Ken Morrow, Daniel Morrow, Mike Morrow, and Ron Vickey. Honorary pallbearer will be Judd Hughes.
Mr. Morrow is preceded in death by his wife, Carrie “Pat” Morrow; and daughter, Donna Denise Harper.
Mr. Morrow was retired from Meade Corp after 32 years of service. He was a WWII veteran in the US Army Air Corp.
