Donna Faye Hazel, born in Alabama, age 65 of Anniston, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023. There will be a visitation held for Donna in the Chapel of Gray Brown- Service Mortuary on Monday, February 27, 2023 from 5-7 pm, followed by a funeral service on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at 2pm. The burial will be held at Wellington Baptist Church Cemetery immediately following the service.
Donna is survived by her son Bobby McCurry; her brother Boyd Scott; her grandchildren Chris Camp, Hannah McCurry, Bethany McCurry, Emily McCurry, Caleb McCurry and Zackery McCurry; her great- grandchildren Mackenzie Pike, Jaylyn Vincent and Sophia Vincent; along with several nieces and nephews.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents Joe Scott and Mae McKerley; her son Joseph McCurry; her brother Bobby Scott; her sister Joyce Cain and by her ex husband Dean Hazel.
Donna Hazel, of Baptist faith, was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved doing word searches and watching wrestling on TV, along with shows such as "King of the Hill" and " The Simpsons". To say she will be greatly missed is truly an understatement.
