Survivors include her son, Shane Owens; daughter, Lindsay Hamm; sister, Carol Fleming; grandchildren, Chase Owens, Mason Owens, and Tyler Billingsly.
Mrs. Morris is preceded in death by her husband John Morris: son, Brad Owens; parents, Leonard and Eunice Putnam.
Mrs. Morris was a native of Calhoun County and a longtime resident of Saks. She graduated in 1969 and served as the class Valedictorian. She was of the Baptist Faith.
A Memorial Service has not been scheduled at this time.
