Dorothy Boyd Irwin

Talladega - Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Boyd Irwin, 87 of Ohatchee will be Monday, March 24, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Dr. Rick Reeves officiating with burial following at Maple Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 12:00 noon until service time at the Funeral Home.

Mrs. Irwin passed away March 21, 2014 in Alpine Alabama.

Mrs. Irwin is survived by her daughter, Darlene (Mike) Perkins; son, Ron Irwin; sisters, Brenda (Mac) McCullars, Linda Faye (Trent) Thisler, Doris (James) King; brothers, Alvin (Zada) Brasher, Gary (Linda) Brasher; grandchildren, Ronnie Irwin, Jessica Irwin, Barbara Irwin, Joey Irwin, Phillip Perkins, Patrick Perkins and Crystal Irwin; 8 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Irwin is preceded in death by her husband, Leon Boyd; brothers, Walter Brasher, Houston Brasher, Melvin Brasher and Jerry Brasher; parents, Audrey and Harvey Brasher.

Pallbearers will be family members.

Mrs. Irwin was member of Hill Crest Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alacare Hospice or Hill Crest Baptist Church in her honor.
