Earl Campbell Sr.

Earl is survived by his daughters Sally Norman (Tom); Karen Campbell; Chris Pearson; his sons Earl Walters; Earl Campbell Jr. (Renee); and Douglas Cooper (Kimberly); many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

Earl was preceded in death by his wife Frances Campbell.

A visitation for Earl will be held Friday, July 15, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary & Crematory, 1329 Wilmer Ave, Anniston, Alabama 36201. Following the visitation will be a graveside at 2:00 PM at Maple Grove, Cane Creek Farm Road, Alexandria, AL.

Serving as pallbearers are Earl Campbell Jr., Douglas Cooper, Perry Lloyd and Larry Arenth.

Earl was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County. He served in the US Army and fought in the Korean and Vietnam Wars, finally retiring after 20 years of service. Earl loved Alabama Football and Wrestling. He also enjoyed working on automobiles.
