Edward is survived by his daughters Peggy Schmoll (Joe) residents of Huntsville, AL; Judy Pearce (Larry) residents of Munford, AL; and Tina Poole (John) residents of Scottsdale, AZ; his son Roger Green (Yvonne) residents of Tuscaloosa, AL. He was blessed with 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Edward is preceded in death by his spouse Barbara June Green, daughter Freda and husband Randy Hawkins of Talladega and granddaughter Stacy Grienwald of Tuscaloosa.
Funeral services for Edward Green will be Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Gray Brown Service Mortuary with Rev. Dean Pearce and Chaplain Greg Walker officiating. Burial will follow at Edgemont Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers are David Pearce, Kevin Hawkins, Eric Hawkins, Brian Green, Wesley Jackson and Daniel Grienwald.
Edward was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County. He served in the US Navy and retired from US Pipe and Foundry. He was also a follower of Christ as his Lord and Savior. The family wants to personally thank our sister Judy and her husband Larry that have lovingly taken such great care of our Dad, Paw Paw and Great Paw Paw. We also want to thank Hali with Southern New Beacon Hospice.
