Floyd Edward Hale

Funeral services will be held at Oak Bowery Baptist Church, 3300 Hwy.144, Ohatchee, AL., December 18th, 2022 at 2:30 pm with Brother Sam Fordham and Bro. Whit Hibbs will be officiating. The family will receive visitors from 1:30 pm until 2:30 pm. Burial to follow at Oak Bowery Baptist Church Cemetery.

Floyd is survived by his wife of 20 years, Linda Hale; daughter, Cindy (John) Humphrey; son, Mark (Marcy) Hale; grandchildren, Brandi Abernathy, Kasey (Luke) Weaver, Cody Humphrey, Owen (Kirsty) Hale, Briley Hale; great grandchildren, Jayden and Kensley Abernathy, Emery and Esmae Weaver, Ollie and Tatum Humphrey; great great grandchildren, Taelynn Hale; step daughters, Lynn (David) Cochran, Lisa (Albert,dec) Johnsey; step son, Buddy (Sabrina) Fordham; step grand daughter, Jessica (Tom) Pannullo; step great grandson, Nick (Sadee) Pannullo; sister, May June Thomas; brothers, Troy Hale, Charles Hale and several nieces and nephews.

Floyd is preceded in death by the mother of his children, Linda Myrl Hale; parents, Leonard Dude and Clara Hale; brothers, Jack Hale and Earnest Hale.

Pallbearers will be Owen Hale, Briley Hale, Jayden Abernathy, Nick Pannullo, Randy Williams and Dawson Turner. Honorary Pallbearers will be Deacons of Oak Bowery Baptist Church.

Mr. Hale worked for APAC or 10 years and retired from Vulcan Materials Company after 20 years’ service.

After retiring, Mr.Hale started his own business of buying and selling appliances, lawnmowers and golf carts. You could always hear him on Trade Line on the radio selling his items and see him picking up and delivering items on a daily basis.

Mr. Hale loved Ohatchee Indian Football and Alabama Football. Mr. Hale was a devoted Christian and member for over 30 years of Oak Bowery Baptist Church. He loved spending time with his family and church family.
