Funeral services for Frances Ellen Cash, 79, of Oxford, will be 1:00 pm, Thursday, March 1, 2012, at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Bro. Harold Pitts officiating. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12-1:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Cash died Monday at her residence.
Survivors include daughter, Gloria George of Oxford; 2 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty Rozier, Linda Faye Compton and Helen Hartline; brothers, Robert Strange and J.W. Strange; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Cash is preceded in death by husband, Allen Cash; sons, Wayne Cash and Stanley Cash; brothers, John L. Strange and Damon Strange.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Mrs. Cash was a loyal member of Golden Springs Congregational Methodist Church where she sang in the choir. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by all.
