Funeral service for Frances Nunnally Gooch, 88, of Anniston, will be 11 am Monday, March 28, 2011 at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Rev. Wayne Fain officiating. Burial will follow at Edgemont Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 – 8 pm at Gray Brown-Service. Mrs. Gooch died Saturday in Vestavia Hills, AL.
Survivors include her son Owen H. Gooch and wife Wilma of Hoover, AL, two grandchildren, Shelley Pettus and Kenan Gooch, four great grandchildren, Hunter Gooch, Amber Pettus, Garrett Pettus and Peyton Pettus.
Mrs. Gooch is preceded in death by her husband, Owen Henry Gooch Jr.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
Mrs. Gooch was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County. She was a member of Noble Street Baptist Church. Mrs. Gooch was retired from Anniston Army Depot.
