

Devoted Mother, Nana and Wife
Frankie Mae Ginn, 81, passed peacefully Wednesday Feb. 4, 2026 at NHC Place. She went home to be with the Lord.
Frankie was born Jan. 29, 1945 in Anniston, AL to Frank and Doris Baird. She grew up in Weaver, AL. She and her mother enjoyed quilting and making clothes.
Frankie married the love of her life, Wayne Ginn, on Feb. 2, 1963. They spent a lifetime together. They were blessed with one daughter: Dawn.
She was a homemaker. She spent her days taking care of the family. When she became a grandmother, her goal was to spoil her two grandchildren (She did obtain that goal). She was the center of our family.
Frankie was an active member at HillCrest Baptist Church. She was a member of the Encourager Life Group. She volunteered at the local food bank. Other hobbies included swimming, gardening and traveling. She loved going to the beach with her family.
Frankie is survived by her husband Wayne Ginn; daughter Dawn (Scott) Harris; grandchildren: Colton (Hannah) Harris and Bailey (Macaden) Timmons; great grandchild; Kenzie and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Frankie especially will be remembered for her smile that would light up the room and the kindness she would show to all. She loved to talk to her friends and new people. She never met a stranger. She Loved the Lord and her family. We will miss her with all our hearts.
Visitation is Tuesday Feb. 10, at 12 p.m. at Gray Brown Funeral Home in Anniston, AL.
