Funeral service for Gary Allen Mayfield, 62, of Daphne, will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 30, 2010, at Gray Brown-Service with Rev. Billy Gamel and Brother David Mayfield officiating. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends this evening from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
Survivors include wife, Linda Mayfield; daughter, Tiffany Crist and husband Keith of Warner Robins GA; son, Jeremy Mayfield and wife Amy of Centre; grandchildren, Brett, Harrison, Alivia, and Adeline Mayfield; sisters, Lavon Brown, and Brenda Mayfield; brother, David Mayfield and wife Vickie, and Scott Mayfield and wife Robin; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Mayfield is preceded in death by his parents, Jasper and Iva Mayfield.
Mr. Mayfield was a longtime resident of Anniston and graduated from Wellborn High School. He retired from the Anniston Army Depot, and was a member of Grace Bible Church in Fairhope. Mr. Mayfield and his wife spent the last eight years living in Daphne, he will be missed by his family and friends.
