Gayle Johnson

Gayle Johnson, 85 (Doyle Johnson), died September 5, 2020 in Savannah, GA. She resided at Riverview Health and Rehab in Savannah for the last 4 years. She was a lifetime resident of Calhoun County (Anniston and Ohatchee).

She is survived by her two daughters, Cindy Christopher (Dwayne) and Karen Replogle (Kenny McLemore); granddaughter, Shelley Coplin Hodges (Brad Bennet) and Bethany Sims Gaultney (Jake); great-granddaughter, Bailey Hodges.

She is most remembered for her volunteer work teaching English at Ft. McClellan to South Korean military wives. She spent many hours giving childcare and doing church mission work.
