

Mrs. Crosson passed away on November 5, 2020, at Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Crosson was a native of Cleburne County and graduated from Ranburne High School. She was a resident of Calhoun County for many years.
Mrs. Crosson worked for the Calhoun County school system at Weaver Elementary School and later at Weaver High School. She retired after 30 years of service.
Mrs. Crosson was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Weaver for over 50 years and a member of the Golden Circle Sunday School Class. She drew great strength from her faith and her church family.
Mrs. Crosson was preceded in death by her husband, James Harold Crosson; her parents, John M. and Sarah Liner Dryden; a sister, Irene Gore; four brothers: Curtis Dryden, Chester Dryden, Howard Dryden, and John Dryden; and her son-in-law, Keith Higginbotham.
Mrs. Crosson is survived by her daughter, Cathy Crosson Higginbotham; sister, Dorsie Lindsey of Oxford; brother, Hugh Dryden of Atlanta; sister-in-law, Pat Shuck of Anniston; numerous nieces and nephews; “unofficial daughter”, Karen Wynn; and dear friends who gave her joy and comfort through their many kindnesses.
A short tribute to Mrs. Crosson will be included in the morning service at First Baptist Church of Weaver on November 15.
