Gracie is survived by her daughter Patsy Kilgore; her grandchildren Rachel Kilgore and Melissa Peoples (Shelly) and several nieces and nephews.
Gracie was preceded in death by her husband Duie Lee Amos; her daughter Helen Amos Holliday; her parents James and Carry Hodge; her three sisters, and her two brothers, and son-in-law Stephen Kilgore.
A visitation for Gracie will be held Thursday, September 28, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary & Crematory, 1329 Wilmer Ave, Anniston, Alabama 36201. A funeral service will occur Friday, September 29, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary & Crematory with Carlos Payne officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Glencoe, Alabama.
Serving as pallbearers are Family and Friends.
Gracie was a native of Etowah County and a resident of Calhoun County. She was raised on a farm and learned the value of hard work. Gracie worked for 10 years at Union Yarn Textile Mill. She was married to Duie for 51 years and as a homemaker she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She always found time for her family and will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
