A celebration of life for Harlis Eugene “Geno” Hammonds, 60, of Jacksonville will be Thursday, December 21, 2017 from 4:00 until 6:00 at Gray Brown Service Mortuary. Geno passed away December 19, 2017 in the arms of his wife of 25 years at RMC of Anniston.
His journey of life leaves behind wife Connie Hammonds, daughters Misty (Stephen), Ashley Hammonds, sons Micah Hammonds (Brandi), Brent Hammonds, grandchildren Cheyenne, Addison, Aiden and Caleb, great grandson to be Westyn and special fur babies Harley and Tom Tom.
The family would like to give special thanks to Chuck and the “Posse” at Jacksonville ER for the continued care and compassion and also Dr. Babiker, Dr. Bidikov and Dr. Chalk at the Tyler Center wound care.
Mr. Hammonds is preceded by his daughter Brianna Hammonds and sister Lynn Hanson and parents Harlis A. Hammond and Barbara McCormick.
In lieu of flowers family request donations be made to the VA or Native American organization.
