

Funeral Services for Harold Douglas Cupp, 80 of Alexandria will be Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 2:00 at Gray Brown Service Mortuary with Don Payne, George Woodruff and Michael Seals officiating. Burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday starting at 12:00. Mr. Cupp passed away Monday, March 14, 2016 in Birmingham.
Survivors include his loving wife of 31 years Rachel Cupp, daughter Deborah Lynn Goble (Jerry), son Curtis Douglas Cupp (Angela) and Michael Seals (Julie), sisters Betty Payne and Mickey Vinson, grandchildren Franci Florey (Jerry), Donna Kay (Matthew), Samuel Douglas Cupp, Maxwell Douglas Cupp, Larry Seals Jr. (Tina), Patrick Seales (Savannah), Ashlea Ford (Josh), Blake Seals, Tyler Seals and Mary Caroline Seals, great grandchildren Avery, Raegan, Chayse, Graysen, Sawyer and Sky, several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Cupp is preceded in death by his parents William S. and Sarah Frances Cupp, son Larry Seals, Brother Junior Cupp and sister Mary Nell Schroth.
Pallbearers will be Mike McCartney, Mark Brown, Jody Whaley, Kenneth Payne, Terrance Abernathy and Matthew Kay.
Mr. Cupp was a lifelong resident of Alexandria and a 1953 graduate of Alexandria High School. He was one the founding members of the Calhoun County Water Authority and former owner of Wilkins and Cupp Grocery Store and he was a Mason. His favorite quote was “Alexandria is as close to Heaven as some people will ever get”. Special thanks to the South Haven Staff for the care they provided.
