Hazel C. Winkler

Funeral service for Hazel Carolyn Winkler, 85, of Anniston, will be 1:00 pm Monday, March 21, 2011, at Eulaton United Methodist Church with Rev. Sherri Reynolds and Rev. David Ray officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 20, 2011 from 6 – 8 pm at Gray Brown-Service. Mrs. Winkler died Thursday at her residence.

Survivors include her husband Gerald Winkler of Anniston, two daughters, Marcia Turner and husband Gene of Anniston and Kim Dover and fiancé T.L. Vaughn of Jacksonville, two sons, Gary Winkler of Huntsville and Jeffrey Winkler and wife Gina of Anniston, eight grandchildren, Dana Gardner and husband Chad, Lori McFall and husband Matt, Brandon Dover and wife Khristen, Brian Dover and wife Stacey, Justin Turner and wife Brittney, Nicholas Winkler, George Winkler and Roy Winkler, eight great grandchildren, Tanner Gardner, Callie McFall, Braxton McFall, Noah Dover, Brody Dover, Tommy Dover, Isabelle Dover and Caden Dover.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Dover, Brian Dover, Justin Turner, Nicholas Winkler and George Winkler

Mrs. Winkler was a native of Talladega County and a resident of Anniston for most of her life. She was a member of Eulaton United Methodist Church. Mrs. Winkler was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
